About

Katy began reading romance novels when she was a teenager, filching from her mother’s collection that she kept piled in a basket in the kitchen. She still reads every type of romance she can get her hands on, and has strong opinions about the genre.

She grew up in the Boston area, and is a proud alumna of Smith College. Twenty-five years ago she moved “for just a couple years” to Philadelphia—and never left the area. She currently lives in an adorable historic town close to the city. When not writing, she works as an archivist and rare book librarian. Her free time is spent being a single mom, wrangling various pets, fixing up her old house, reading, knitting, cooking, gardening, reading tarot cards, and generally making all kinds of stuff.

Katy occasionally writes and publishes poetry when so moved. But most of her writing time is spent creating charming and sexy romance stories that get to the heart of falling in love and finding one’s place in today’s world, and where the happily-ever-afters are satisfying, empowering, and available to everyone.
